I Survived – Beersmiths

I Survived by Beersmiths. Fruited Berliner Weisse, 5.5% ABV.

Half clear light red berry colour, pours a medium head.
Aromas of rhubarb, notes of vanilla and passion fruit.
Flavours of rhubarb, vanilla, some small notes of passion fruit and raspberry and strawberry, even though those last two were not involved in the making.
Pretty tart and not overly sweet as rhubarb isn’t the most sweet of fruits (is it a fruit?). Perhaps a little bit thin but otherwise pretty nice.
I’m recovering from a light round of Covid (no pun intended as to the name of the beer) so I wanted to drink something with distinct flavours, and this one delivered pretty good on that front. Summery vibe as well which is nice as the vacation is starting now. 3.5 out of 5.
