La Mari IPA – Marieta Artesana

La Mari IPA by Marieta Artesana. American style IPA, 5.4% ABV.

Hazy butterscotch colour, pours a medium head.
Malty and a bit citrusy aromas of white bread, honey, bitter orange and some small notes of grapefruit.
Flavours are citrusy and a bit malty, with orange, honey, white bread and some hints of grapefruit and apricot.
Crisp mouthfeel and a pretty well rounded bitterness, although a little bit thin. Could have had some more punch in the flavours, a little bit too mellow to really pop. 3.25 out of 5.
