Organic Orange Beer – Cerveza Artesanal Gènesis

Organic Orange Beer by Cerveza Artesanal Gènesis. Saison Farmhouse Ale, 7% ABV.

Half clear butterscotch colour, pours a medium head and has quite a lot of sediment.
Citrusy and a bit malty aromas of orange, white bread and some barrel character.
Flavours are citrusy and a bit malty, with orange, white bread and some barrel notes.
Feels a bit artificial in it’s profile, the orange doesn’t come through that natural and doesn’t quite marry with the other flavours. Feels a bit flat as well. This could also be me not understanding the style that well, but wasn’t really down my alley. 3 out of 5.
