Meridian DIPA – Apex Brewing Company

Meridian DIPA by Apex Brewing Company. Double New England IPA, 8% ABV, 65 IBU. Brewed with Cashmere, Citra and Vic Secret.

Hazy and juicy mango colour, pours a medium head with nice retention.
Tropical and citrusy aromas of mango, pineapple, grapefruit, some passion fruit and pine.
Flavours are tropical and citrusy, with mango, pineapple, grapefruit, orange, pine and some honey.
Crisp mouthfeel and pretty bitter. Much more piney than I thought it would be, which gives it some character together with the orange notes. Got a lingering zestiness. Not totally down my alley, although very well made. 3.75 out of 5.
