Hellbender IPA by Apex Brewing Company. New England IPA, 6.5% ABV.

Hazy pineapple colour, pours a medium head.
Tropical and stone fruity aromas of mango, papaya, sweet cake, apricot and some herbal notes.
Flavours are tropical and citrusy, with pineapple, mango, sweet cake, grapefruit and some herbs.
Juicy, with a pretty mellow bitterness and lots of tropical sweetness. Doesn’t become too sweet though, the herbal and grapefruity flavours balance it nicely. 4 out of 5.
