Heavy Lifting – Duckpond Brewing

Heavy Lifting by Duckpond Brewing. Fruited Gose, 9% ABV.

Dark purple colour, pours a small head.
Aromas of cherry, black currant and vanilla.
The aromas are mirrored in the flavours, which also is that of cherry, black currant and vanilla.
Medium tartness, not overly sweet and hides the ABV pretty well. Pretty black currant forward, which makes it a bit different from the classic Darkwing from this brewery, a bit more tart and bitter. Not my favourite from these guys though. 3.5 out of 5.
