Tingvalla Pilsner – Stay True Brewing

Tingvalla Pilsner by Stay True Brewing. Czech pilsner, 5.2% ABV, 25 IBU.

Half clear butterscotch colour, pours a small head.
Malty and citrusy aromas of bread, orange, some apricot and herbs.
Flavours are malty and citrusy, with bread, herbs, orange and some apricot.
Crisp mouthfeel, not very bitter and just a bit of sweetness. As you might have seen, I don’t drink Pilsners that often, as I prefer other styles. Fredrik at Stay True convinced me to try this one though. And it was a pretty nice experience. Fresh, crisp and well made. Shows that Pilsners can be something else than the industrial ones. I still prefer my beers a bit more hop forward and hazy though. My wife loved it on the other hand. 3.5 out of 5.
