Morning Star IPA by Apex Brewing Company. New England IPA, 6.5% ABV. Brewed with Simcoe, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin.

Hazy mango colour, pours a medium head.
Tropical and citrusy aromas of pineapple, gooseberry, grapefruit, herbs and sweet cake.
Flavours are tropical and citrusy, with pineapple, grapefruit, gooseberry, herbs and some sweet cake.
Crisp mouthfeel, a little bit above medium bitterness and medium sweetness. Well balanced, doesn’t become overly sweet and has a good backbone. 4 out of 5.
