Diamonds and Guns have released new single “Pain and Champagne”
Swedish punkrockers Diamonds and Guns have released their new single “Pain and Champagne”, a track from their upcoming EP that’s coming out later this year.
“Degenerate Nonsense” is the band’s second EP. Like the debut, “Making Cash For Heartless Crooks”, the music is characterized by a flirtatious, danceable rawness.
In collaboration with producer Tom Van Heesch, the band has found a home and a sound that is Diamonds and Guns. The “Degenerate Nonsense” EP has a more mature tone and jargon compared to “Making Cash For Heartless Crooks” album, and delivers drama, love, hard rock and no nonsense – with a little twinkle in the eye. Tom Van Heesch is known for productions with, among others, Rammstein, Backyard Babies, Entombed AD, Michael Monroe, etc.
The drums were recorded at Kapsyl Studion together with Jugglo. String instruments and vocals were recorded at Momento Studio. Piano and keys were recorded by Mats Nilsson, ex. KSMB in his own studio. Other additions were recorded in the band’s own studio.
The title of the album says a lot about what the band has been through during the journey with the EP.
