Albatross – Stigbergets Bryggeri

Albatross by Stigbergets Bryggeri. New England IPA, 7% ABV.

Hazy and juicy mango colour, pours a medium head.
Citrusy and tropical aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, sweet cake and some herbs.
Flavours are citrusy and tropical, with grapefruit, pineapple, mango, white bread and some pine.
Crisp mouthfeel, not as thick as expected. Medium bitterness balanced with some nice hoppy sweetness, I wouldn’t call it sweet though. A slight boozy bite but hides the ABV pretty well. Nicely balanced and big flavours. 4 out of 5.
