Ancient Astronaut – Elmeleven

Ancient Astronaut by Elmeleven. Pastry Sour, 7.5% ABV.

Deep purple colour, pours a medium head.
Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry and some hints of chocolate.
On the tongue is blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry and a little bit of chocolate notes.
Pretty thick and juicy mouthfeel, it’s not overly sweet and the cacao nibs in there gives it a pretty unique profile. It’s got those classic sour-style fruits in the base but adds a little bit of character with the chocolate notes. It works okay, even though it’s not the best I’ve had from this brewery. 3.75 out of 5.
