Calima – Remmarlöv Gårdsbryggeri

Calima by Remmarlöv Gårdsbryggeri. New England IPA, 5.6% ABV. Brewed with Idaho 7, Bru-1, Galaxy and Sabro.

Hazy mango colour, pours a big head.
Tropical and citrusy aromas of pineapple, white bread, grapefruit and some passion fruit.
Flavours are tropical, malty and a bit citrusy, with pineapple, white bread, grapefruit and some honey.
Crisp mouthfeel, medium bitterness and just a bit of sweetness. A little too malty for my liking when it comes to NEIPAs, would have needed a bit more fresh hoppy fruitiness. Far from the best I’ve had from this brewery. 3.25 out of 5.
