Carlshamns IPA – Brygghus 19

Carlshamns IPA by Brygghus 19. International-style IPA, 4.7% ABV.

Hazy bronze colour, pours a medium head.
Citrusy, malty and tropical aromas of grapefruit, white bread, some nectarine and some small herbal notes.
Flavours are citrusy and malty, with white bread, grapefruit, herbs and some nectarine.
Crisp but thin mouthfeel, with a distinct bitterness. Not much sweetness here, more bitter and malty. Lacks some punch and could have had some more distinct fruity hoppiness. But it’s quite low ABV so I didn’t expect it to pack a punch. But it’s a little bit thin and leaves me somewhat disappointed, even though it’s easy to drink. 3.25 out of 5.
