Carousel – Good Guys Brew

Carousel by @goodguysbrew. New England IPA, 6.5% ABV.

Half clear light amber colour, pours a very small head.
Aromas are malty and citrusy, with white bread, some grapefruit and some herbs.
Flavours are malty and citrusy, white bread, grapefruit some hints of apricot and a little bit herbal.
Crisp but a bit thin mouthfeel and a medium bitterness. This one doesn’t scream New England, it doesn’t have the characteristics of a NEIPA, much more of a regular IPA, or perhaps even more a lager. Ok taste, but a pretty big disappointment from what is expected and what is advertised on the can. A weak 3 out of 5.
