Colossus IPA – Apex Brewing Company

Colossus IPA by Apex Brewing Company, poured at Kungstorgets Brygghus. New England IPA, 6.5% ABV.

Hazy pale pineapple colour.
Aromas are tropical and citrusy, with pineapple, grapefruit and hints of honey.
Flavours are citrusy and a bit tropical, with grapefruit and some pineapple.
Crispy mouthfeel, not overly bitter or sweet, pretty well balanced. Slightly muted in the flavours for being Apex, the grapefruit is pretty pronounced though, but it becomes a little bit one-dimensional. 3.75 out of 5.
