de’Lischus Haze – Vigrum Bryggeri
de’Lischus Haze by Vigrum Bryggeri. Double IPA, 7.2% ABV.
Hazy pineapple colour, pours a medium head.
Aromas are tropical and citrusy, with pineapple, grapefruit, some honey and herbs.
Tropical and citrusy flavours of pineapple, grapefruit, honey, herbs and some hints of mango.
Crisp and dry mouthfeel and a pretty bitter bite in the end together with some small boozy notes and slightly metallic hints. That boozy bitterness together with the slight metallic notes takes it down a couple of notches for me at the start, but they mellow down after a while and it becomes more pleasant and good.
For those who doesn’t know, Lisch is the nickname of the town where this brewery is located. I grew up about a ten minute drive from there, fun to see some good brews coming out from there. 3.75 out of 5.
