Esplanad Tropical Ale – Hops N’ Leon Skaraborg

Esplanad Tropical Ale by Hops N’ Leon Skaraborg, poured at Sill och Dynamit. Pale Ale, 5% ABV.

Half clear golden colour.
Tropical aromas of pineapple, mango and passion fruit.
Flavours are tropical and slightly citrusy, with pineapple, passion fruit, sweet cake and some orange.
Sommery and really tropical without becoming overly sweet. I’m a bit on the fence when it comes to beers that add fruit in the brewing process, the result can be a bit artificial, which this is bordering. On a sunny day it’s a nice thirst-quencher though. 3.25 out of 5.
