Golden Hoppies – Hop Notch Brewing

Golden Hoppies by Hop Notch Brewing. American IPA, 5.8% ABV.

Half clear golden colour, pours a medium head.
Tropical and citrusy aromas of pineapple, mango, herbs, grapefruit and some honey.
Flavours are tropical, citrusy and slightly malty, with passion fruit, pineapple, rosemary, white bread and grapefruit.
Crisp mouthfeel, distinct bitterness and not very much sweetness. Pretty nicely balanced, not your average West Coast IPA, got a little bit of a twist to it. I might prefer them a bit more old-school though. 3.75 out of 5.
