Hop Hog – Hop Notch Brewing

Hop Hog by Hop Notch Brewing. New England IPA, 6.1% ABV.

Hazy golden colour, pours a pretty big head.
Aromas are citrusy and herbal, with grapefruit, hay and white bread.
Flavours are also citrusy and a bit herbal, with grapefruit, hay, white bread and small hints of mango.
Pretty crisp mouthfeel, a little bit of bitterness. Lots of countryside flavours in the profile from the malts, and some fruity flavours woven into it. Pretty nice, I could have taken some more of those fruity flavours, but that’s more of a personal preference. 3.5 out of 5.
