Hopheadz [IX] Cashmere – Akia Brygghus

Hopheadz [IX] Cashmere by Akia Brygghus. Double New England IPA, 7.5% ABV.

Half clear golden colour, pours a big head.
Tropical and a bit citrusy aromas of papaya, mango, pineapple and some grapefruit and coconut.
Flavours are tropical, with papaya, mango, pineapple, white bread, coconut and some notes of grapefruit and banana.
Pretty juicy mouthfeel, easy bitterness and some sweetness of the dried fruit variety. Got a bit of a malty aftertaste that balances the more fruity flavours. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I taste some banana in the lingering aftertaste as well. 3.75 out of 5.
