Hopheadz VIII – Akia Brygghus

Hopheadz VIII by Akia Brygghus. Double New England IPA, 7.5% ABV. Brewed with Nelson Sauvin, Sabro and Idaho 7.

Juicy pineapple colour, pours a medium head.
Tropical and a bit citrusy aromas of pineapple, passion fruit, herbs and some orange.
Flavours are tropical, with pineapple, passion fruit, herbs, coconut and some honey.
Juicy mouthfeel, medium but pretty soft bitterness and some good tropical sweetness. Nicely balanced, the Sabro doesn’t take over too much which often tends to happen. 3.75 out of 5.
