Hoppy Otter – Hop Notch Brewing

Hoppy Otter by Hop Notch Brewing. New England IPA, 4.8% ABV.

Hazy light pineapple colour, pours a medium head.
Tropical and grassy aromas of gooseberry, hay, some pineapple and grapefruit.
Flavours are grassy and a bit tropical, with hay, grapefruit, pineapple and gooseberry.
Light mouthfeel, medium bitterness and light sweetness. Too much hay for my liking and a little bit too light. The other flavours don’t come through much. Not my cup of tea. 3.25 out of 5.
