Hoptimistic DIPA – Hop Notch Brewing

Hoptimistic DIPA by Hop Notch Brewing. Double IPA, 8% ABV.

Half clear light bronze colour, pours a small head.
Malty, citrusy and a bit tropical aromas of white bread, orange, herbs, apricot and some mango.
Flavours are malty, citrusy, piney and a bit tropical, with white bread, grapefruit, pine and some mango.
Pretty full mouthfeel, medium bitterness, a slight lingering boozy bite combined with a little bit of that tropical sweetness. A bit of a combo of a regular DIPA and a West Coast, more towards the former though. Pretty nicely balanced. 3.75 out of 5.
