IPA – Benchwarmers Brewing Co

IPA by Benchwarmers Brewing Co. American IPA, 5.6% ABV. Brewed with Amarillo and Simcoe.

Hazy bronze colour, pours a small head.
Tropical, malty and citrusy aromas of pineapple, white bread, grapefruit and some herbs.
Flavours are malty, citrusy and slightly tropical, with white bread, grapefruit, herbs and some small notes of pineapple.
Pretty juicy mouthfeel, high bitterness and low sweetness. Quite a lingering grapefruity bitterness together with the malty notes. Slightly too malty and bitter for me, I would have liked a bit more pine and dried tropical fruits to balance it slightly. 3.25 out of 5.
