Dizzy Sunfist on their Fat Wreck release:
“The 12 songs Fat Mike chose have become some of the most important songs in our lives. This dream was made possible because of everyone who stood with us, and that’s why we named this album Our Dream Is Not Dead. We hope it becomes a treasure that you’ll carry with you forever.”

Dizzy Sunfist is a melodic punk band formed in 2009, heavily influenced by both Japanese and international melodic punk and hardcore. In September 2013, the band signed with Caffeine Bomb Records and released their first nationally distributed mini album, Fist Bump. Their second mini album, Super Delicious, followed in July 2014 and reached No. 5 on the Oricon Indies Chart. In March 2016, they released their first full-length album, Dizzy Beats, followed by their second full album, Dreams Never End, in January 2018. Later that year, in November, Dizzy Sunfist embarked on their first overseas tour, the Dreams Never End Asia Tour, performing 10 shows across six countries.

To celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2019, the band held headline concerts at Namba Hatch in Osaka and Studio Coast in Tokyo, with the Tokyo show selling out to an audience of 2,200 people. In July, they released the EP Episode II, available exclusively through mail order and at live venues, marking their signing with major label Nippon Columbia. In 2021, Dizzy Sunfist released their third single, Andy, followed by their third full-length album, Dizzyland – To Infinity & Beyond –, on October 27. After several lineup changes, Meg officially joined the band in September 2025, completing the current lineup. Their message, “The Dream Is Not Dead,” continues to resonate strongly with audiences and remains one of their signature live anthems.

In Japan, Dizzy Sunfist has performed at major festivals including Satanic Carnival, Kyoto Daisakusen, Summer Sonic, and Osaka Haziketemazare Festival. As a female-fronted melodic punk band, they continue to lead the Japanese melodic punk scene with energetic live performances and unwavering momentum.
