Jungle Years – Hopsala Brewery

Jungle Years by Hopsala Brewery. New England IPA, 6.4% ABV, 27 IBU. Brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Hüll Melon.

Half clear apricot colour, pours a big head.
Citrusy, tropical and a bit malty aromas of grapefruit, mango, pineapple and white bread.
Flavours are citrusy and tropical, with grapefruit, mango, pineapple, white bread and some small hints of strawberry.
Slightly juicy mouthfeel, pretty mellow bitterness and the sweetness is being reined in by the malt base. A new hop-combo for me, the Hüll gives it a bit of a different profile, but it’s also a profile that’s a bit all over the place. Slightly overcarbonated. 3.5 out of 5.
