Lowlands – Hyllie Bryggeri

Lowlands by Hyllie Bryggeri. New England IPA, 6.5% ABV. Brewed with Motueka and Mosaic.

Half clear golden colour, pours a small head.
Tropical and slightly citrusy aromas of mango, passion fruit, pineapple and some grapefruit.
Flavours are tropical and citrusy, with mango, passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit and some herbs.
Crisp but a bit thin mouthfeel, high carbonation, medium bitterness and some tropical sweetness. More flavours than the nose suggests, but lacks a little bit of depth and is a bit thin. Pretty nicely balanced though. 3.5 out of 5.
