Italian punk band Millennial Daze has released their new bittersweet single “Might Be Easier”.

After a summer tour that saw them share the stage with historic bands of the Italian punk scene such as Bambole di pezza and Rumatera, Millennial Daze season starts again with the new single Might Be Easier.

In the song, the band reflects on a relationship in crisis, in which one finds oneself dealing with one’s own mistakes and faces the risk of being hated by the person they love. The protagonist, face to face with his own mistakes, expresses regret for unfulfilled promises: in his words of frustration, the fragility of those who desire understanding and forgiveness is revealed. But the regret expressed in the text does not dampen, indeed it further charges the grit of the song, which maintains a carefree mood in the face of this internal torment.

Might Be Easier reaches this emotional tension by mixing determination, anger and melancholy. Moving away from the more simplistic themes of classic pop punk, the song’s vibrant sounds and pressing rhythms maturely address this quest for redemption. Millennial Daze’s sound evolves with the addition of more modern elements, such as the use of electronic effects and a clean production that enhances each layer of sound.

Millennial Daze is a trio with a fresh and captivating sound with 90’s punk rock, alternative rock and new wave influences, formed by Niccolò, Alessandro and Nicolai. The band was born in Novara, Italy, with the idea of proposing a more modern sound within the punk rock scene: this research combines “pop” style writing with the decisive and sharp sound of punk and at the same time is capable of dealing with social, reflective and personal issues while maintaining an energetic and melodic imprint.

In 2020, Millennial Daze released their debut EP Sweet and Loud, containing six songs resulting from the experimentation of their first years of activity. Followed, in 2022, by “I Fought the Law”: tribute to the Clash, one of the band’s major influences. The following year they entered into a collaboration with Gianluca Veronal from Andead who, as a producer, contributed to the artistic and musical development of the group. In the summer of 2023, “Jerk it Out” was born, a Caesars cover rearranged in a modern key together with Veronal.

In December 2023, the group’s new era begins with “Choke the Enemy”, continued by “Paranoia” in March 2024 and continued in May with “Teenage Queen”. The three singles are produced by Veronal and released on Attitude Records, label founded by Andrea Rock.
