Milo’s Phoenix – Tilted Barn Brewery

Milo’s Phoenix by Tilted Barn Brewery. American style IPA, 6.8% ABV, 79 IBU.

Hazy and juicy mango colour, pours a medium head.
Tropical, stone fruity and slightly citrusy aromas of pineapple, passion fruit, peach and some grapefruit.
Flavours are tropical, stone fruity and citrusy, with passion fruit, some peach and grapefruit and some grassy notes.
Slightly juicy mouthfeel, not that much sweetness and quite a lingering bitterness. That lingering bitterness is a little bit unpleasant in my book, combined with those grassy notes. It does mellow out a bit after a while, but still not really my cup of tea. 3.5 out of 5.
