Mistral – Cervezas Althaia

Mistral by Cervezas Althaia. Double IPA, 8.7% ABV, 65 IBU.

Half clear butterscotch colour, pours a small head.
Citrusy and tropical aromas of grapefruit, white bread, some caramel and mango.
Flavours are citrusy and tropical, with grapefruit, mango, white bread, caramel and some herbs.
Crisp mouthfeel, a pretty defined bitterness and not too much booziness. A well balanced beer that is easy to drink despite the little bit higher ABV. 3.75 out of 5.

This was the last of the beers I bought from this brewery. All in all a brewery that knows their styles and how to make well made beers. I didn’t go to their taproom but I would recommend giving them a visit if in the area.
