Specimen.6 – Chad Beer

Specimen.6 by Chad Beer. Double New England IPA, 7.5% ABV. Brewed with Mosaic and Idaho 7.

Half clear light amber colour, pours a medium head.
Citrusy and a bit tropical aromas of, grapefruit, pineapple, mango and herbs.
Flavours are tropical and citrusy, with pineapple, orange, papaya and a bit of herbs and sweet cake.
Crisp mouthfeel, pretty light bitterness and just a bit of sweetness. No booziness and well balanced. Could have had a bit more punch in the flavours, but it’s supposed to be summer BBQ beer which I think it would suit nicely. 3.75 out of 5.
