Sunspots – Unibärsum

Sunspots by Unibärsum. West Coast IPA, 6.5% ABV, 50 IBU.

Half clear bronze colour, pours a small head.
Citrusy, malty and a bit tropical aromas of grapefruit, white bread, herbs, and apricot.
Flavours are citrusy and malty, grapefruit, white bread, herbs, some apricot and syrup.
Crisp, with a medium bitterness that doesn’t overdo it, together with a nice maltbase and hoppiness that meets up with sweetness. Could have amped up the bitterness a wee bit though, and I miss the more resinous flavours a bit. 3.75 out of 5.
