The Game – Spike Brewery

The Game by Spike Brewery. New England IPA, 6.2% ABV.

Hazy mango colour, pours a small head.
Aromas are citrusy and a bit tropical, with grapefruit, mango and some apricot.
Flavours are tropical and citrusy, with mango, papaya, honey, apricot some orange and hints of white bread.
Crisp mouthfeel, not very bitter but sweet and hoppy. Nicely balanced and a pretty good representation of a NEIPA. There’s a QR-code on the can that promises something, but at the time of drinking there was nothing up there, but the game apparently starts later today. I better find that can again. 3.75 out of 5.
