The Wokealist – Spike Brewery

The Wokealist by Spike Brewery. New England IPA, 6.4% ABV.

Lightly hazy butterscotch colour, pours a small head.
Tropical aromas of mango, some herbs and small notes of pineapple.
Flavours are tropical and a bit citrusy, with mango, herbs, grapefruit some pineapple and white bread.
Crisp mouthfeel, medium bitterness and a little bit of sweetness. Pretty nicely balanced, got a bit more maltiness than I thought it would have. Pretty well balanced and nice, although more of a regular IPA than NEIPA (as it’s classed as on Untappd). 3.75 out of 5.
