Three Headed Cod (2023) – Stigbergets Bryggeri

Three Headed Cod (2023) by Stigbergets Bryggeri, with hops from Crosby Hops. New England IPA, 7.5% ABV.

Hazy and juicy mango colour, pours a medium head.
Citrusy, tropical and stone fruity aromas of grapefruit, mango, apricot, sweet cake, pineapple and some honey.
Flavours are citrusy, tropical and stone fruity, with grapefruit, apricot, mango, pineapple and sweet cake.
Juicy and a tiny bit creamy mouthfeel, soft bitterness and a gentle boozy bite in the end. Sweet but not too sweet, well balanced. I don’t think I’ve had many beers with the hop Triumph in it, but it feels like it adds a little extra bit of depth in this one. I don’t remember last year’s edition good enough to say if it’s better or not, but the rating becomes the same. 4 out of 5.
