Transformator – Stjernsund Brygghus

Transformator by Stjernsund Brygghus. Red IPA, 6.2% ABV.

Half clear amber colour, pours a pretty big head.
Aromas are citrusy and a bit malty, with orange, white bread and some syrupy notes.
Flavours are also citrusy and a bit malty, with orange, white bread, syrup, pine and a little bit of herbs.
Crisp mouthfeel, and a nice bitterness. Classed as a Red IPA on Untappd, but I would say it’s somewhere in between that and an American style IPA. Really nicely made, good flavour-profile on this one. 3.75 out of 5.
