Turf War IPA – Apex Brewing Company

Turf War IPA by Apex Brewing Company. New England IPA, 6.5% ABV.

Hazy pineapple colour, pours a small head.
Tropical and citrusy aromas of pineapple, grapefruit and some herbs.
Flavours are tropical and citrusy, with pineapple, grapefruit, some rosemary and orange.
Crisp mouthfeel, medium bitterness and not that much sweetness. Well balanced and solid but perhaps not too exciting when it comes to the flavours. Not bad at all, but not the best I’ve had from this brewery. It might suffer a bit from the high expectations. 3.75 out of 5.
