Wermlands IPA Rel. 2.0 – Wermlands Brygghus

Wermlands IPA Rel. 2.0 by Wermlands Brygghus. International style IPA, 6% ABV.

Half clear golden colour, pours a medium head.
Aromas are citrusy and a little bit tropical, with grapefruit, pineapple, herbs and a little bit of honey.
Citrusy and a little bit tropical in the flavours as well, with grapefruit, pineapple, herbs and a little bit of pine.
Crisp and a bit thin mouthfeel. There is some bitterness there but not as bitter as other West Coasts can be. And yes, it’s an international IPA on Untappd, but defined as a West Coast by the brewery on the can. A little bit more on the tropical than piney end, not totally a classic West Coast profile but still a well made and nice beer. 3.75 out of 5.
