Beaches – Skule Bryggeri

Beaches by Skule Bryggeri. New England IPA, 6.3% ABV.

Juicy mango colour and pours barely no head.
Tropical aromas of mango, pineapple and small hints of herbs.
Flavours are tropical, with mango, pineapple, sweet cake, some herbs and small grapefruit notes.
Slightly juicy mouthfeel and a medium bitterness. This beer confuses me a bit, it looks like a sour more than a NEIPA, and the profile is more of a fruit IPA. A fruit NEIPA then. Definitely mango forward but lacks some acidity and sweetness to be more well balanced. Now it’s more of bitter mango. 3.25 out of 5.
