dHop 43 – Equilibrium Brewery
dHop 43 by Equilibrium Brewery. Double IPA, 8.5% ABV. Brewed with Zappa, Mosaic, Belma and Barn Rouge.
Hazy and juicy pineapple colour, poured an insane head, had to wait ten minutes for it to come down a bit and the can looked about to explode.
Aromas of tropical fruits, citrus and berries, mango, pineapple, grapes, orange.
Flavours are tropical, citrusy and with berry notes. Mango, pineapple, orange, grapes, melon, some light strawberry notes.
Juicy and fizzy mouthfeel, soft bitterness and a pleasant boozy bite in the end. So much happening in this one, loads of fruity and zesty flavours. Overcarbonated but nice and pretty exciting flavour-profile when it calmed down. Some hops in this I haven’t tried before. 4 out of 5.
