Esplanad Juleöl (2022) – Bryggeriet i Mariestad

Got to try the local stuff while being home at my father’s place over Christmas. Esplanad Juleöl (2022) by Bryggeriet i Mariestad. Winter Ale, 5% ABV.

Dark brown colour, pours a small head.
Aromas of dark bread, dark caramel and notes of coffee.
Flavours of dark bread, dark caramel, coffee and chocolate.
Pretty big and bold flavours in this one, almost like a stout. Nice and toasty, although if you know me, I tend to gravitate towards the fruity styles in my preferences. This is not bad though, gives a nice Christmas-feeling. 3.5 out of 5.
