Hopheadz [ III ] – Simcoe All the Way by Akia Brygghus. Double IPA, 7.5% ABV.

Hazy butterscotch colour, pours a big head.
Citrusy and tropical aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, some apricot and honey.
Flavours are citrusy and tropical, with grapefruit, pineapple, sweet cake, some honey and a bit of pine.
Bit of a juicy mouthfeel, pretty soft bitterness and quite some sweetness. Got a little bit of a round boozy bite and good punch in the flavours. Nicely balanced and well made. 4 out of 5.
