Jörmundgander – Althaia and Sáez & Son

Jörmundgander by Althaia and Sáez & Son. American style IPA, 7.1% ABV, 54 IBU.

Hazy butterscotch colour, pours a big head.
Aromas are piney and citrusy, with pine, honey, grapefruit, orange and some white bread.
Flavours are also piney and citrusy, with pine, resin, white bread, grapefruit, orange and some notes of caramel.
Crisp mouthfeel and a distinct medium bitterness. Well balanced flavour-profile and a really nice version of a west coast IPA. Good combination of Chinook and Centennial hops. So happy to have found a proper microbrewery somewhat close to where I’m at and I’m looking forward to the other beers I picked up from these guys. 4 out of 5.
