Life on a Ferris Wheel – The Feelgood McLouds

Life on a Ferris Wheel by The Feelgood McLouds, released on Wolverine Records in 2020.

The Feelgood McLouds is a German Punkrock/Folk band. Their music sounds like Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys had a growly little child. The music is very much Irish folk-inspired, as Flogging Molly, but the energy is more raw and a little bit more like early Dropkick Murphys.

The record is enjoyable and energetic. There are some weaker tracks on here, but overall this was a nice record. I’ve missed this kind of energy in the folk-punk of late. Fans of the genre will definitely find some songs to enjoy on this one.
