Louie – Duckpond Brewing

Louie by Duckpond Brewing. Fruited Gose, 5% ABV.

Dark purple colour, pours a medium and pink head.
Aromas of black currant, vanilla and some hints of pear.
Flavours of black currant, vanilla, some apricot and pear.
Juicy and slightly thick mouthfeel, medium tartness and medium sweetness. Strikes a good balance, doesn’t become too sweet, and got good punch in the flavours. Black currant and vanilla forward, but the other fruits can be found and adds some nice depth and makes it interesting. Really nice sour, this series has been a good one. 4 out of 5.
