The Stag – Beersmiths

The Stag by Beersmiths. American IPA, 6% ABV.

Half clear golden colour, pours a small head.
Tropical and a bit citrusy aromas of mango, white bread, grapefruit and herbs.
Flavours are tropical, slightly citrusy and piney, with mango, white bread, grapefruit, resin and herbs.
Slightly thin mouthfeel, pretty high bitterness and low sweetness. The bitterness stays on the palette for a long time. Would have liked a little bit more of the fruity notes, ends up a bit too far on the bitter end for me. 3.5 out of 5.
