Thulcandra IPA – Apex Brewing Company

Thulcandra IPA by Apex Brewing Company. New England IPA, 6.5% ABV.

Hazy mango colour, pours a medium head.
Tropical, citrusy and stone fruity aromas of mango grapefruit, apricot and sweet cake.
Flavours are citrusy and tropical, with grapefruit, some mango, pine and herbs.
Pretty juicy mouthfeel, distinct bitterness and a slight boozy bite. Got some sweetness but not as much as I expected. Well balanced with some notes that give depth beneath the more fruity hoppiness. 4 out of 5.
