West Coast IPA – Bryggeri 1766 Fulltofta Gård

West Coast IPA by Bryggeri 1766 Fulltofta Gård. American style IPA, 7% ABV, 50 IBU.

Half clear bronze colour, pours a small head.
Citrusy and malty aromas of grapefruit, white bread, pine and herbs.
Flavours are citrusy and malty, with sweet buttery caramel, grapefruit, white bread, pine and some herbs.
Pretty smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness and quite a lot of sweetness for being a West Coast. Not really the classic flavour-profile for the style, the sweet caramel is turned way up, it’s a bit too sweet for my liking and there are some funky buttery flavours lingering. Not really my cup of tea. 2.75 out of 5.
