Leviathan IPA – Apex Brewing Company

Leviathan IPA by Apex Brewing Company. New England IPA, 6.5% ABV. Brewed with Strata, Mosaic, Sabro and Simcoe.

Hazy mango colour, pours a medium head.
Tropical aromas of mango, passion fruit, pineapple, some herbs and honey.
Flavours are tropical and a little bit citrusy, with mango, passion fruit, grapefruit, herbs and a bit of white bread.
Slightly juicy mouthfeel, medium bitterness that lingers and not much sweetness. Almost a bit earthy in the herbal notes. Was expecting a bit more sweetness but that is reined in a bit in this one. 3.75 out of 5.
